December 24th, 2005 - Barrel Man + Hydle

His name was Tim McKernan. He took a $10 bet from his brother in 1977 that he wouldn’t wear a barrel to Denver Broncos football game. 30 years and 22 different barrels later, Tim finally retired from his superfan role as “The Barrel Man” in 2007.

Friday, at the age of 69, Tim McKernan lost his battle with an inoperable respiratory disease.
