It’s been a record-setting summer for Colorado’s Eisenhower Tunnel, which charted the busiest month in its 36-year history when 1.2 million vehicles drove through in July.
And a new record for August traffic at tunnel on Interstate 70 was set, with 1.16 million vehicles counted. Last month’s tally for the tunnel on Interstate 70 was nearly 42,000 more vehicles than the total last August.
A 24-hour record was set Aug. 2 with 50,918 vehicles driving through the tunnel. The highest three-day count of 148,300 vehicles was set Aug. 7 through 9.
This video is not interesting enough to embed… and neither is this feel good story about Marcal – the oldest recycled paper maker in the country – but it brings up good points about green-washing.
It’s the whole idea that people are not going to make dramatic steps in anything they do. Even if you want to go green, it’s small steps.
