Working out a nice deal with Blackbox Case to offer the first ever Hydle branded product.

I’ve always been on the lookout for something eye catching and durable to carry my MacBook Pro from mobile edit airstream to airstream… and I finally found it. Best of all — Blackbox Case is located right here in my home town of Golden, Colorado.

With future products + accessories + finishes on the way… I literally love the “branding” potential of this product and am excited to finally offer a product to share with my friends.

Dock Spacers

Enjoying this handy small trick from MacLife.

Dock Spacers – Let you pseudo organize your iTems in the Dock.

1. Launch Terminal
2. Enter this snippet and hit return:

defaults write com.apple.dock persistent-apps -array-add ‘{“tile-type”=”spacer-tile”;}’

3. Repeat for as many spacers as you would like.
4. Restart the dock by entering this command and hit return:

killall Dock

5. Organize away.

I don't know if the technology wasn't available - or if our teachers were just too lazy to check out the VHS tape. But as I think back at it now... it makes me wonder where the line between childcare and actual learning sits in our educational system. My entire technical background I learned in 3rd grade. And now I receive my education on YouTube. Sound dangerous? It is.

She was not only the fastest overall in 1985, but also set a record which still remains unbeaten to this day by a female driver. I had the ability to adventure Miles Above Ordinary at the C Lazy U Ranch just outside of Granby, Colorado toward the end of last year. What a treat it was to witness the amazing winter activities first hand at this 5-spur rated dude ranch.

3:2 Pull-down

Performing a 3:2 Pull-Down
The most common approach to distributing film’s 24 fps among NTSC video’s 29.97 fps is to perform a 3:2 pull-down (also known as a 2:3:2:3 pull-down). If you alternate recording two fields of one film frame and then three fields of the next, the 24 frames in 1 second of film end up filling the 30 frames in 1 second of video.

As shown above, the 3:2 pattern (actually a 2:3:2:3 pattern since frame A is recorded to two fields followed by frame B recorded to three fields) repeats after four film frames. Virtually all high-end commercials, movies, and non-live television shows use this process prior to being broadcast.

Thank You begins by interviewing individuals from every walk of life about how they predict the winter. The movie then recaps the best of the last three years of Nimbus. Enjoy!

Nimbus Independent was started in 2007 by Eric Pollard in collaboration with Pep Fujas, Andy Mahre, and Chris Bencheter. The four like minded skiers began Nimbus to bring a different perspective to the world of ski movies.
