Jeremy is throwing an “Ally’s Drunken Pool Party” at the glass house today. As if supermodels and water weren’t enough to entice… he sent me this lovely snapshot of party fuel to secure my presence.

Its Labor Day Weenkend and Ally will be in town. We are going to celebrate with a Pool Party & BBQ. 11am may seem early but Bloody Marys and Mirmosas will be flowing. We have to take advantage of the short amount of sunlight that lasts at our pool. So come early and drink heavily.

Eisenhower Records

It’s been a record-setting summer for Colorado’s Eisenhower Tunnel, which charted the busiest month in its 36-year history when 1.2 million vehicles drove through in July.

And a new record for August traffic at tunnel on Interstate 70 was set, with 1.16 million vehicles counted. Last month’s tally for the tunnel on Interstate 70 was nearly 42,000 more vehicles than the total last August.

A 24-hour record was set Aug. 2 with 50,918 vehicles driving through the tunnel. The highest three-day count of 148,300 vehicles was set Aug. 7 through 9.

Hard to Leave

I’ve been pooling it out in Desert Mountain for the last couple of days and am finding it hard to leave such a nice little gem in the desert.

Especially now that I have setup an AppleTV on his 72″ LCD and a stronger wireless network to stream music from anywhere – hard place to leave.

Long Drive Regionals

I went savaging today… unfortunately I came up short.

Hitting golf balls at 9:00 in the morning in 100% humidity isn’t really my style. Coors Lab doesn’t even open until 10:30. So it was hard to get in the groove early – Especially in Phoenix.

Thanks to everyone who supported me through this short 2 week endeavor. I believe that if I have a future in Long Drive, I will have to find some sponsors… and a way around not being able to drink in competition.
