They contact production companies who bid on the job. They select a company who spends the money to hire the crew that stands around all day and complains about their overtime rate and meal penalties while they eat sushi from the catered lunch, all the while sitting next to me, making $200 a day before taxes on a flat rate whether I work 10 hours or 20 hours that day. No one wants to fix it though because they all make their living doing this shit. How about he runs the camera because it’s digital and easy to work with. One guy who does lighting. One who directs. And one who helps with camera, lighting, and rigging.
