The Phantom Flex Digital High-Speed Camera shoots 2,570fps at 1920×1080 at 1200 ISO… which allows for amazing low light shots like this.
Jam.
[YouTubeUlar] <— 4,722 Ridiculous. Brain Farm and Red Bull kill it again with Travis Rice and The Art of Flight Movie Trailer. There are at least 8 “Holy Shit” elements in the first half of this teaser… I don’t even know what to say — Guess we’ll just have to wait to see the full film.
Genius.
[iDevice Link] <— 21,510 In November of 2010 I had the opportunity to road trip to Lubbock, Texas to tell a story about a west texas piano player who goes by the name of Doug Smith. My only introduction to Doug prior to engaging with him at his home in Petersburg, Texas was this video above... and a minor tour through his music library from the iPod on the road trip down. Doug was injured in a car accident in 2007 while driving home from his studio late one evening on a two lane rural Texas road. Hey lay upside down for 3 hours with a broken neck before he was found and ultimately transferred to Craig Hospital in Englewood, Colorado to continue his rehabilitation back to the piano. As you will see in these future posts about this life changing trip to the cotton fields of west Texas, Doug Smith has since returned to the studio in a new musical form.
“You don’t need hands to play a piano… you don’t need legs either. You just need a will in your heart.”
Look for the release of Doug Smith’s first post injury album to be hit the shelves shortly after the 10th annual Craig Hospital PUSH Dinner on March 3rd, 2011 – where you will also get to view this completed video project.
For more information and tickets to the 10th annual PUSH Dinner – follow this (yet to be found) link.

“When you win… you go into this smoky room with the 12 industrialists capitalists scumfucks who got you in there. And your in this smoking room and this… little screen comes down. And a big guy and a cigar says – “roll the film”. And it’s a shot of the Kennedy assassination from an angle you’ve never seen before. And then the film – the screen goes up and the lights come on and they go… “Your the new president – any questions?””
Classic find Robert Fulton.
“This is really about ‘making-up’. When you are just at the edge of the ‘it’s too hard’ precipice, look down and think about life without love.
It’s easy to be cynical about love. But when loves leaves your life, you realize that everything is better with it. The Friendship, Partnership, Warmth, Connectedness, Support – it all makes life just a bit more worth living.
Don’t be cynical, don’t be flippant, try your heart out, you don’t have to settle – strong back, open heart – it’s worth it.”

IMPORTANT! HOW TO USE YOUR SHAKE WEIGHT
READ THIS FIRST!
After reading / researching / browsing / linking / searching and internet surfing on random waterfalls and kayaking expeditions throughout the world – I stumbled upon this Outside Magazine article about the life of Hendrik Coetzee and his unfortunate death on the river.
It is a very inspiring story and kicked me into an emotional adventure thinking about how small life really is and how important it is to live yours. Because If you don’t live your life – then somebody else will… and Henri Coetzee, “the great white explorer”, was that somebody.
I feel privileged to take the time to learn something amazing about the passions of a complete stranger. I have some friends up above that I know you are hanging out with Henri. Your last writing is chilling to consume, and will not go unnoticed for you shall never “live a better day”.
Why, within human nature… does it take something to end, like death – for others to begin caring?

For a while I was watching in low def thinking it was faked… but reading into it and watching in HD i’m willing to claim this massive 189 foot waterfall kayak drop by Tyler Bradt a real success.
Don’t be scared to check out Dream Result and watch the trailer to the movie this ridiculous drop of Palouse Falls in Washington State appears in.
While we are at it, lets enjoy some of the most amazing waterfalls in the world.

I haven’t concluded my super bowl ad recap yet, but as usual… rankings are coming in from all over.
Animal Ads Resonate with Viewers
The overall number one ad with viewers (overall score of about 72.3) was “Saluting Beaver” from Bridgestone, featuring a motorist who is able to avoid hitting a beaver and then plunging into a river thanks to tire traction (and a little rodent-supplied assistance). “Saluting Beaver” scored first in both emotion ranking (evoking most possible positive and least possible negative emotions) and water cooler ranking (likelihood of participants discussing the ad at the water cooler the next day), and third in interest ranking (how well it held the interest of viewers).
Meanwhile, the self-explanatory “Dog Party” ad from Bud Light, which came in third overall, ranked first in viewer interest.
Automotive Ads Take Three Top 10 Spots
Three of the top 10 ads, including the number one ad, were for autos or automotive products. Two ads were for snack food, and one ad promoted a product in each of the following five categories: the NFL, beer, film, soda, and online portal.

“Chuck Patterson is a former pro Freeskier, a professional Waterman, and one of the most fearless humans we’ve ever met. After a brief experiment with skiing on waves several years ago, Chuck’s passion for the idea was re-lit after watching Mike Douglas and Cody Townsend ski the waves of Maui in 2009. In January 2011, Chuck followed the biggest swell of the year to Maui, to see if he could see if he could successfully ski Pe’ahi or ‘Jaws’ — one of the most powerful waves on earth”
